MOVING DAY!

Once the bank accepted the offer we had on our house, we had a week and a half to move. We had an offer back in April and we thought we would be moving then but it fell through. We were half way packed b/c of that. Ryan asked two of his friends, Nick Sorensen and Tyler Francis to help him move the big stuff on a Thursday. They are awesome! Thanks guys!! Ryan and I moved everything else in 3 loads. After all of this, we decided we have way too much stuff.

I cried as we drove away for the last time.  I will miss you Decatur house.  You were the first house I bought and there are so many memories there.  But Ryan and I bought the Dover house together and there will be a lot more happy memories made there.

First Live Burn

Ryan had his first live burn and friends and family were able to come and watch.  I thought that it would be a huge building on fire like you see in the movies.  I was wrong but I got to see Ryan in his fireman get up.

They went in this building and stood in the room where the fire was burning.  They experienced what it was like to be that close to a fire and the heat it produces.  They when they got used to that heat, the instructor would turn it up.  Ryan said it was crazy hot  but loved it.

Baby Capri Lynn Baker

The week we were moving, my sister Jami and her hubby Mark  Baker had their baby girl.  It was a clear warm Tuesday night...ha I will spare you all the details, and leave you with pictures.  Find out the whole story here, http://markandjamibaker.blogspot.com/2011/10/capri-lynn.html

Doesn't Jami looks so beautiful.  She is about 2 hours aways from pushing a baby out. 

She's HERE!  There was a little scare b/c she got some liquid in her lungs.  I don't know the technical terms but she recovered after a little bit and is doing great.  Look at all the dark hair!

Maybe I should thinking about having one of my own...nah I will keep living through my brothers and sisters.  It's fun being the "cool" aunt

Molly in a box

While we were moving, Ryan got the birght idea to put Molly in a box.

She didn't seem to mind to much once Ryan started feeding her treats.  She was content.

Then he took Molly out of the box but put her bone in the box.  She had a fun time trying to get it out.

Engagmement Date and 9-11

Since Ryan started the fire academy he has had opportunities to do different service projects. For 9.11 he helped set up a memorial in Scottsdale. It was really awesome remembering the events of that day. 

On a happier note, two years ago Ryan proposed to me with a ring pop (my ring wasn't ready yet) at Huntington Beach!  Since then, every year on 9.11 he gives me a ring pop and tells me sweet things.  It's so sweet of him and I am so cheesy that I eat up every second of it, then eat the ring pop! :)

I am the luckiest girl ever!!

Hunting Preparation

Ryan has a big hunt coming up in the end of November.  He has been preparing for that hunt by buying camo gear for it.  I hope he will be able to hide in the brush and bring home an elk.

goodbye old friend, hello new one!

I had to say goodbye to my old friend. I have had her for the past 3 and a half years. I bought her when I was single and we had a lot of good times. We had plenty of bonding time and she treated me really well, unless you count the 2 red light tickets and 5 speeding tickets I got. We wanted to find another car that got better gas mileage and would be cheaper to fix if she broke down.
Tears were shed on the day I sold her.

Goodbye Infiniti G35

Meet my new ride.  She is everything we hoped for and more.  27 miles per gallon and really dependable.  Don't forget how good she looks.  And no tickets yet!!!
