Happy 4th!!

7.4.12
Happy 4th of July!  We started the day off right by going shooting.  We had a shoot off with my child size .22 riffle.  We all got really close to the target.
Ryan, Troy Williams, Todd McClellan

Mallory McClellan, it was her first time shooting.  She did awesome!

We broke out the shot guns after.  I hit my first clay pigeon ever.  Everyone did awesome.
For the rest of the day we went to the west side and ate at The Place.  It was so yummy.  That afternoon Ryan's dad and Martin came over for dinner.  Todd and Mallory meet up with us and we drove to east Mesa to try to view all the different firework shows.  That didn't last long b/c the cops came and said we all had to leave.  We resorted to watching the fireworks on TV that night.  It was still an awesome night.

Easter Egg Hunt!

This is the usual scene on Easter.  The adults sit on the fence while the kids are looking for the eggs.  This year Ryan Harper, Ryan Gardner, me, Cole and Clay helped us hide the eggs.
Rachel, Cody, Donna, Derwin, Cole, Clay, Ryan, Lisa, Jami in the back.
Sweet Sweet times!

This gem is a picture Lisa got of me, taking a picture of Molly.  I know I look good, don't be jealous. Yes I am being totally serious.
Here are the sweet pictures I got of my sweet precious Molly. Yes I placed the egg next to her.  She's doesn't appreciate my hard work.
The best pictures I got.  She's was to interested in what was going on around her.  Maybe I'll get a better picture of her next Easter.

Everyone counting their money and candy.  What a great time day!

Valentines Day

A little late...
2.14.11
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!
This year for Valentine’s Day we celebrated at home.  We decided our anniversary is 3 weeks after so we'll make that a big deal.  This year Ryan cooked for me.  He roasted potatoes, pheasant (that he shot with his friend Scott and his dad), onions and other things he threw in with an artichoke on the side.  It was so YUMMY!!  He's a great cook!

The card I made him.
Happy Valentines Day!!! I love you!!!

4 Peaks & Shooting

12.31.10
We went up to 4 peaks on New Years Eve to go shooting and to see if we could make it to the top with all the snow.  It was a chilly day.  Of course we had to take Molly it wouldn't be a road trip without her.

Clearly, I don't see the cliff up ahead like Ryan does.  I'm glad we didn't fall off.  ha!
Shooting my pink .22 Ryan got me for Christmas.  It's a blast.  I never thought I would like shooting this much. It was so cold, I tried to shoot it with my gloves on but that didn't work out.  Molly doesn't like the sound of gun shots, she would try crawling up my leg as I was shooting.
Look Out Clint Eastwood, someone has a killer shot with his new gun.
Yes you are seeing that correctly, Molly does have a little coat on.  We wouldn't want her to get chilly out there.

We didn't make it all the way to the top but pretty close.  The road got way too icy and we started to spin out.  We were able to turn around after getting stuck for a few minutes.
It was beautiful up there.  I loved seeing the snow and the cold weather.  I got my snow fix for the year. I'll settle with the cold weather minus the snow.

Christmas 2010

Yes I am Still playing catch up.  I'm only 3 months late posting this. :)
 12.25.10
Merry Christmas!  Santa let Ryan borrow his Santa suite on Christmas Eve night.  He went and visited the Barkers house and the Millers.  He did change his shoes though, those white ones don't really go with the suite.
 Ho Ho Ho Baby!
(yes I am aware I look creepy in this picture, but it's the only picture I had on Santa's lap)
The nativity at the Harpers.  The always do an amazing job. I love the 2 angels in the back.
Ryan and Paul are so cute with Molly in the picture.  Next years Christmas card, I think so. Enough said.
My sisters and sister in laws.  I don't know why my mom isn't in the pic, she must have been doing something.  Me, Jami, Lisa, Rachel and Melissa.
Santa CAME!!! Christmas morning.  We don't splurge on a big tree yet, we don't have space to store it.  I love the stockings.  Molly had a bone in her stocking and she wouldn't part with that thing all morning long.

Ryan surprised me and got me a pink .22! I'm actually really excited for it!! It was a good year.
Ryan before we went to my parents house.  He was a little dissapointed b/c he really wanted a Ruger .22 but I told him I didn't know which one to get him.
SIIIKE! I totally fooled him.  He has been dying for a gun for the past 5 months so I decided to play a trick on him this year. I wrapped the gun and took it over to my parents house. So on Christmas morning we opened all of our presents to each other at our house and he was severely disappointed that he didn't get the gun. I told him that I didn't know what gun to get and we would go later to pick out one together. It took all I had not to tell him he was getting it later that day. A few hours later when we were all done opening presents at my parents house, I finally got the gun out for him. He was so stoked and surprised. It was Christmas miracle. Ha! Now that I think more about it, it was a little mean of me to make him wait so long. Oh well... BOO YA I GOT HIM SO GOOD!!!
 I'm so sneeky!!

At the Gardners that night Ryan was part of the Talent show.  He was featured in the song Santa Baby, sung by Meghann and Grace.  It was really cute.
The Gardner Nativity.  It's so fun to see them all dress up for it.
It was a great Christmas.  I had so much fun. The day went by to fast.  I can't wait for next year, I love the Christmas season.
