2nd Anniversary

3.5.12
We made it 2 years.  Who would have thought.  ha!
A few nights before our anniversary Ryan and told me about this doughnut shop by our house, Bosa Doughnuts. I told him that I wouldn't mind trying them b/c I have heard a few people talking about them.  So on the morning of our anniversary I showed up to work and there was a special surprise on my desk.
A Diet Dr Pepper with vanilla, my most favorite treat, and a doughnut and doughnut holes from Bosa.  The breakfast of champions.  They were good, I am a lucky girl!

That night we went to BJ's Brewery for dinner.  We cleaned up!  After we went by Golden spooned and got some yogart for later.  It was a great day!  We love spending time together.

We didn't bring a camera so we had to use my phone,  they are pretty bad pictures.

Valentines Day

2.14.2012
This year for Valentines Day we kept it simple and stayed home. I tend to get a little excited for holidays.  I made dinner with the holiday colors in mind.  So I made a red lasanga, salad, bread and sparkling cider.  I even bough heart shaped plates.  I had fun going over board this year.  We used our fireplace for the first time ever too!  We had fun relaxing evening!

Pillow Hog

2.26.2012
This is Molly's ususal spot when we go to bed...On Ryan's pillow.  She gives Ryan only a little corner of HIS pillow.  When he gets up in the middle of the night, she will get up and lay down in his spot and he has to move her to lay back down.  For being only 8 pounds, she really is a bed hog.

Molly's drugged

2.12.2012
We have been noticing or rather smelling Molly's bad breath.  Most dogs have some what of a stinky breath but hers was starting to smell like a bad bowel movement so we looked at her teeth.  They were not in the best shape. Some plaque is normal but her was more like a plague of plaque attacked her mouth.  So we decided to get her teeth cleaned.  We went to the vet and it turned out that she needed some teeth extracted too, 7 to be exact.  This isn't her first rodeo, she had her teeth cleaned before and had 7 teeth extracted then too.  I stared to worry I would have to blend her food up so she could gum it down.  But I found out that she only needs 14 teeth chew and dogs have about 60 to start with, give or take 10.
When we picked her up from the vet the next day, she was so funny and loopy.  She couldn't walk straight and just laid around, with her tongue slightly hanging out.  They suggested to keep and eye on her for a few days so I took her to work with me the next day.

She was feeling a little better that day.  She would lay by my desk, but also liked to wonder around and visit the guys in their offices.  She would welcome the people that came into my office with a friendly bark. She's so kind.
She didn't last at work with me all day.  I took her home during lunch since she seemed to be feeling better.

Her little tongue is hanging out
After all of this, her breath is much better and even more gap toothed but she is still so cute!

FREE SHORTSTACK TUESDAY
Dollar makes me hollar honey boo boo!!  (from toddlers and tiaras)
Ever heard of free pancakes at IHOP? Its just a day when you get free pancakes from there.  It was so yummy!  I thought it would take us forever to get in and out and it was surprising fast.  This is going to become something we do every year.

Waiting

This is where Molly waits for Ryan to come home.  She won't even come and sit by me on the couch. I guess she wants to be the first one to see him come home.

CHRISTMAS!!!

12.23.11 - 12.25.11
My Family got together the Friday before Christmas to celebrate our Christmas Eve. Our traditions are we eat appetizer type foods for dinner, read the nativity, my parents give everyone an ornament and Santa comes.
Crew Miller and Caleb Baker as the wisemen.
Blake Harper, angel, Cole Miller, the star and Clayton Miller, angel #2
Cody, Paul and Ryan
The girls.  Me, Lisa, Donna, Melissa, Jami, Rachel
Cash (featured in the corner) Eli, and Blake
Boys: Cole, Clayton, Crew, Braeden, Cade, Santa, Drake, Tyke and Brock
Since we celebrated Christmas Eve on Friday, everyone else goes to their in laws on Christmas Eve. Ryan's family gets together on Christmas night so we go to a nice dinner with my parents. This year we went to Flemings. Ryan and I have not been there but my parents have and they said it was really really good.
My parents and Ryan got the rib eye and I got the filet. Mine was good but Ryan's was super bloody and fatty. My parents didn't care for their steaks either. We shared all the sides and the desserts.
Our bill was around $300 for everything, so crazy to spend so much money for a meal that wasn't that amazing.
Around 5 am Christmas morning, Ryan woke up sick and threw up. We found out later that my mom woke up sick and threw up also, and my dad didn't feel good all day on Christmas. We figured it had to have been Flemings. So the next day Ryan called to see if anyone else had called in saying they were sick and no one had.  The manager he talked to was really rude to him, this is at the Scottsdale location. We decided that I would email Flemings to tell them what happened. (We don't normally do this but since it was so expensive and it made them sick, I did). I got a call from the operating partner apologizing and he said we could eat there again on him. That's super nice of him but now we have to decided if we want to go back.
 CHRISTMAS MORNING!!
 our stockings
 Molly's stocking
She got a bone of course.
 Ryan's new bike!!!
My new bike!  Seriously Ryan couldn't have taken a better picture? ha!
 MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Cash loves Molly kisses, but I know his parents won't love that she kisses him.
Molly sat squished between Ryan and the couch while we were opening presents.  She's so funny.

I got a mop and bucket from the Millers and yes I am super
super excited.  I would always borrow theirs to mop my floors.
HEX BUG RACES
The nativity at the Gardners!  It's always a good time.  I didn't take that many pictures, I will work on that for next year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
