Birthday Boy

Someone had a birthday on June 28!!  Yep it was RYAN!!!!  He turned 25!  We didn't just celebrate his birthday but he had a birthday week.  We celebrated a few different times.
On his birthday some friends came over and brought fireworks and who were they....
PATRICK, CHRISTINE AND KATIE!!  Whoo hoo!! Patrick and Katie are wearing shirts with his face on it.  He felt so honored.
They brought pizza, and we had a party!
He got a sweet back scratcher,
Arizona shirt with horses on it, yes I said horses and a gift card from his awesome friends.
Molly of course was invited.
I got him stuff to use when he goes hunting and
a gun case.  I got fancy this year and used grocery ads to wrap his presents.
PS Apples were on sale that week at Frys.
Ryan prefers pie to cake so I got him a german chocolate pie and a mini banana cream pie. They were super yummy.  We couldn't find candles so we resorted to using a lighter.  We are classy!
It took a few tries to get it to stay lit. Doesn't Ryan look good in his horse shirt, I thought so.
That weekend Ryan and I had a fancy night.  We went to Home Depot, Carabas and almost made it to a movie, but it was to late to go. On Saturday we went to Ah-So.  It was a great weekend!  Happy birthday baby!  You're the bestest friend I could ask for!

1st and 10...Hike!

Ryan played a few football games with his friend Todd McClellan. I enjoyed watching him run his buns off, and ripping peoples flags off.  He did awesome.

What a stud

Graduation

DAVID GRADUATED!!
Ryan's brother graduated from Southern Utah University.  We traveled to Cedar City for the event.  It was a really fast trip, we left on Friday and came home on Saturday.  We went with Ryan's dad, brother Curtis, and his son Zane.  At first I thought it was a little crazy to take a 4 year old on such a long road trip but I was totally wrong.  Zane was a such a good boy and really entertaining.
Curtis, David, Ryan and Alicia (Ryan's sister)

The fam. Ryan, Dad, David, Curtis, and Alicia
Once we got into town we went to the hotel to check in.  Ryan's dad and Curtis went in to get everything ready while Ryan, Zane and I waited in the car for them.  At this point we had been the car for awhile and my tummy had been hurting, so I thought it would be okay to relive it.  Ryan totally called me out on it while Zane and I were laughing.  I told Zane not to tell anyone when they got in the car.  But Ryan of course told everyone and when Curtis got back in the car, he asked Zane if someone tooted, and he said "I don't know." He totally had my back.  At that point I knew that we were always going to be good friends.

On our way home we stopped at the new bridge.  It was so crazy how high up it is. I love looking down at the dam, it has such a crazy view.  We got back into the car after the bridge and Zane was so funny and kept saying, with his cute little voice that he was the only one that saw the bridge.

Picnic for Two

I missed out on an awesome patio set at a garage sale a few weekends ago.  I was totally bummed out but Ryan remembered that Costco had a sweet picnic table we could get instead.  I was still upset about the patio set but I was sold on the idea of getting a picnic table cloth to go over it and it would be so cute.
Ryan was excited as well bc he put it together the other morning.  I came home for lunch that day and came home to this.
How cute I know!  He wasn't home when I got home bc he went to get pizza.  He wanted to have a picnic on out new table.  He was going to make sandwiches but we didn't have the stuff to make them.  Pizza was the next thing he thought of as picnic food.  How cute is he, and the table!  The best part is it folds up!

Lazy Much

I have been taking long walks around my neighborhood and I always take Molly.  We usually go later in the day so it isn't as hot but last Saturday we went a little later in the morning.  About 10 minutes into the walk, Molly gave me the look.  You know, THE look.  She slowed her pace down, looked up at me with tired eyes, and she was panting hard.  I thought, she's only 7 pounds, I can carry her her for the next block or so then she can walk again. Well after about 3 blocks I put her down and she just stood there.  She wouldn't budge when I pulled on the leash so I continued to carry her.  Ya, she totally knows how to get what she wants.

She is enjoying her "walk"

I finally put her down a block away from our house and about 45 minutes of carrying her.  I dropped her leash and she just took herself home. She knew where she was going.  She would look back to see if I was still there but kept heading home.

You would think she carried me the whole walk the way she was panting.

I'm not falling for it next time.

Easter Egg Hunt!

This is the usual scene on Easter.  The adults sit on the fence while the kids are looking for the eggs.  This year Ryan Harper, Ryan Gardner, me, Cole and Clay helped us hide the eggs.
Rachel, Cody, Donna, Derwin, Cole, Clay, Ryan, Lisa, Jami in the back.
Sweet Sweet times!

This gem is a picture Lisa got of me, taking a picture of Molly.  I know I look good, don't be jealous. Yes I am being totally serious.
Here are the sweet pictures I got of my sweet precious Molly. Yes I placed the egg next to her.  She's doesn't appreciate my hard work.
The best pictures I got.  She's was to interested in what was going on around her.  Maybe I'll get a better picture of her next Easter.

Everyone counting their money and candy.  What a great time day!

Someone's a year older...

It's me!!! My 28th birthday was great this year.  I inching my way to 30 and it freaks me out.  That plus for the next 2 months I am 4 years older than Ryan.  I like to play the "I'm older card" when I'm trying to win a fight or make a point.  It hardly works.
My birthday was on a Saturday so I got to spend the whole day with Ryan.  While I did hair for a little bit in the morning Ryan ran and got me Jamba Juice, flowers and a card.  He's so sweet.  We thought since my birthday was on a Saturday we would go and get all the free stuff you get for your birthday.
First Stop...Joe's Farm Grill.  They give you a free meal.  It was our first time there and it was so good.  We would definaly go back.
Next...welll...we were driving by Joe's BBQ in Gilbert, so we stopped by there after lunch and got some BBQ for the next day, since it was going to be free.  On Sunday during lunch, we were glad we did.

Next...we went to Krispy Kreme to get the free dozen dounuts.
That night we went to Charlestons' for dinner.  It wasn't the best idea b/c we weren't that hungry from all the eating we did through out the day.  That night Ryan surprised me and we meet some friends and went dancing in Scottsdale.  I always forget how much I love to dance. I don't care what people think and do my thing.  We have a fabulous time.
THANK YOU RYAN FOR THE GREAT BIRTHDAY!!!!
